On joining this global engineering consultancy you will be part, of the Mission Critical Team, covering various sectors including, but not limited to Data Centres, Mobile Networks and Laboratories.
This role is responsible for the delivery of building services from design through to construction.
About the Role
Co-ordination of mechanical design with other building services disciplines and with external parties such as architect or structural engineer.
Designing projects up to RIBA Stage 4A.
Writing reports, specifications, schedules and calculations.
Participate in business related activities (non-Project).
Participate in project activities including design and documentation.
Take part in personal and professional development training as required.
Competent at designing and documenting systems through concept, design development and detailed documentation phases.
Review technical submissions by Contractors and Sub-Contractors and the quality of construction against the specified requirements.
Share knowledge with graduates and new staff, identifying areas where training may assist individuals or the group.
Requirements
A relevant tertiary qualification combined with equivalent training and accreditations.
Well-developed understanding of Project Stages and Delivery methods (e.g. full design, design and construct).
Have a minimum of 2 years’ experience working with data centres and/or mobile networks.
Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate information of a complex nature both verbally and in writing with all stakeholders across multiple disciplines including colleagues and clients.
Ability to exercise well developed problem-solving skills and use substantial initiative and judgement to work independently to meet objectives.
Consistently produce accurate work.
