About the Company
This role is for an ambitious Electrical Design Engineer to join the MEP Team of a design consultancy working on a wide variety of challenging and interesting projects.
This role will see you working as part of a talented team focussing on projects including mixed use, commercial and residential.
About the Role
Detailed design drawings with a specialisation in electrical system design.
Preparing technical specifications and schedules and design development reports.
Initially the role will be under the guidance of a Senior or Associate Engineer, however as you develop, you will increasingly take responsibility.
Taking projects through from inception to completion and handover.
Undertaking survey work.
Production of feasibility reports.
Attend site progress meetings and review installations
Working closely with other team members.
Plan and manage CAD documentation of design work.
Liaising closely with other professionals, including structural engineers, architects, surveyors, and contractors of in-house and external project teams.
Taking responsibility for your workload and projects.
Requirements
A minimum of 2 years electrical design experience in the building services sector.
Preferably a bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
A desire to continue your professional development.
